Donations and memberships are tax deductible. Your membership provides great opportunities to meet new friends who share your love of the blues.

Social: Opportunity to meet people with similar interests.
Knowledge: Opportunity to learn more about Alabama blues, its history, and the musicians.
Monthly E-Newsletter: Keep up to date regarding local, regional and national blues happenings.
Discounts: Discounts on admission to MCBS sponsored shows, on our merchandise, and from area stores and venues that support the MCBS.
Bluemail: Weekly update reminding you of blues happenings and changes to the local calendar. We also give you cool links and connect you with the web side of the blues.
Reserved Seating: Reserved seating at Blues Ball and certain other MCBS events.
Monthly Open Jams: Monthly open jams where you can just listen and enjoy or sit in and play or sing and meet other musicians of similar ability.
Lending Library: The MCBS has amassed a lending library over the years with more than 1000 CDs videos, cassettes, and books that are available to check out at major MCBS events. Note: Members agree as a condition of checking out CD's not to copy or burn them.
Additional Band Membership Benefits: Reduced entry fee for our Battle of the Bands competition.
Calendar: Free listing of gigs on the calendar and in Bluemail.
