Whoa....let’s not be so quick to blame the mcbs.It is my understanding that these people work for no pay for the good of the city’s love for blues. I was not able to attend the BOBB and it clearly sounds like it was a poor selection of judges but you cannot base your opinion on one mistake. Let’s get past it and move on. I can say I have had the pleasure of hearing Daniel Turner play who fronts Dan and the Dusters and he is a very talented performer who writes most of his own tunes. If you haven’t heard them you are missing out! I haven’t heard the young man who one first in the Battle of the Bands but maybe he will keep his content more blues for the Memphis gig.
