Hey all you MCBS volunteers:
Blues Fest was great.It was great because so many of you worked your butts off.Just wanted you to know how much George and I love you guys and consider you friends and allies.Thanks for literally making Birmingham a more “colorful"place to live.
You create opportunities for cats like us to work and so many other blues craftsman to work.We get to hear new smokin’ bands like Mikey Jr’s.You create a time and place for us to mingle with dudes like Gip and the Bluesmasters…..
It’s a beautiful thang.
