Hey everybody, well it looks like the rain has spoiled our plans in the park again this month. We will be moving the show to Twist & Shout again. The show will be from 3-6pm and is free to the public. There are no coolers allowed in the club. MCBS members will get a discount on drinks when you flash your membership card. The venue is located at 2011 Highland Ave S. It is close to the corner of Highland and 20th street.
Bring your lawn chair and cooler and enjoy FREE Blues music from 3-6pm.
The park is located across from Dreamland BBQ at the corner of 14th Avenue and 15th Street South. (click “read more” for a map)

The Freedom Creek Blues Festival has been bringing great blues artists to the heart of the Alabama black belt for over ten years and this year is no exception. Very sadly, the founder and inspiration of this festival, outstanding bluesman Willie King, passed away earlier this year . . . but the festival lives on!
