Janiva Magness – Old Car Heaven
The Janiva Magness show on September 24 has been cancelled. She was supposed to play at a big festival in Georgia and the City pulled the funding for the whole show, so she is having to cancel all her club gigs as well. It did not make sense for her to fly across the country for just a few shows. We are working on getting it re-scheduled and it looks like she will visit the ‘Ham some time on February.
HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS.
We have booked Alphonso Sanders and Bill “Howl n Madd” Perry booked in place of Janiva. This duo placed second at the International Blues Challenge this year and put on a great Blue Stages show here in July.
Look for the Blue Devils will open that show. The show must and will go on.
